Peter Straub writes with a literary elegance which makes thise short stories all the more terrifying.

This is the first book by Straub I have read and now I'm a HUGE fan, and am looking forward to his other works. These shorts are very well written, great charector formation and a remarkable imagination. Some stories made me cringe, others laugh through the fear...excellent...won't be dissappointed,
