This book is absolutely wonderful! It's historical romance with a magic twist thrown in. I can't wait to read the other books in this series! This book kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading it. I was just waiting to see what magical ability would show up next. Patricia Rice is extremely talented! I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes historical romance or magic.

This was my first reading of Patricia Rice. It was a little different from the other historical novels I have read because this book's main characters are pagans. Still, the story line was good.
