This is a very interesting peek into the experiences of the author in evaluating the sanity of many infamous killers. Also gives a look at how the court system has failed to protect those who are truly sick and shows how the mental health defense has been abused by cold, calculating killers.

Scholary work, Barbara Kirwin shares 20+ years of work as forensic psychologist...liked it so much I am keeping my copy...this one is a copy I got ahold of by mistake. Besides being the kind of a read I am interested in right now she includes an index. So few works have that feature. I'm able to refer back to what Kirwin said in her book about something or somebody which is another reason this book makes it a "keeper".
