Anyone else interested in the theory of macrobiotics?  I started reading, The Macrobiotic Path To Total Health, by Michio Kushi and Alex Jack.  It is rather interesting so far.  I am just curious if there are other people out there that like this sort of thing.

I remember reading an article in readers digest about ten years ago about macrobiotics. I learned a lot from it. A lot of it made logical sense to me. The fact that my body would react better to locally grown foods than foreign food and that sea salt, sea weed, and fish gives your body the right amount of nutrients. It is one of those diets where they claim it can help cure cancer, just like the raw food diet.

I havent read the book or followed it religiously, but i am a bit more conscience of where my food comes from. (I also prefer to grow my own foods and am SOOOO happy to finally be living somewhere I can garden again).
