NKJV divided into 365 readings by date. Each day has a reading from the OT, one from the NT, one from Psalms, and one from Proverbs. Explanations of words and social customs fitted into the column next to the verse containing them. Each day also has notes from Dr. MacArthur commenting on some aspect of the reading (two to four paragraphs). The front of the Bible contains a list of 52 passages that Dr. MacArthur suggests for memorization, along with a short (a paragraph or two) comment on them.
