I've only read a couple of sections of this book for a class, but it was pretty interesting. A little cerebral as far as language goes, but it is a theory book after all, so I suppose anyone who wants this book should expect that. Dickinson is a fascinating poet and makes for great subject matter, and Cameron is a leading authority about her poems. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is genuinely interested in analyzing Dickinson's poems on a high-academic level. It's not a leisure read.
