This book has two sections. The first section is the history of the restaurant and the area. Included are reminiscences from several former patrons. These are one of the most enjoyable parts of the book. The second section includes recipes and are a mix of old-time and from the new Lundy's. Gunst worked to recreate the old-time recipes as the old recipes were not made available to her. The recipes representing the new Lundy's were adapted by Gunst from the recipes developed by the original chef of the new Lundy's. Many historical photos are included in this book. All in all, a very enjoyable read even if you never try any of the recipes.
