I found this book to be a good read. It has several characters to follow and not to much adult content.

Lucy moves her teenage boys to a small town to put the pieces back together after a divorce and the older boy finding himself in trouble. However, this story isn't just about Lucy getting her life in order. Drew Tolman, former baseball player, is also reaching out the teenage daughter he never acknowledged. Then there's his ex-girlfried, Jacquie, who has to learn to live without a man and get to know herself. There are really three story-lines in this book that intertwine, but each is a strong part of the story. This story delves into real-life issues like divorce and alchoholism and how it can affect those close by. Although I didn't find the book to be a downer, it didn't have as much humor as I prefer--it was just reality. It was well-written and what some might call an "easy read".

Ann's best yet!!!!! Realistically examines the healing process post-divorce and post-regret, as well as raising teenage sons. A rare reread for me!

I found the hero just a little shallow until very close to the end of the book but overall I really enjoyed this book.

This was a cute story that became really good as the story went along and the events toward the end of the book though expected, were nonetheless, quite moving.

About this title: Lucy Carpenter is ready to cook her way into the hearts and wallets of celebrities, but she needs somebody to put the word out. That somebody is Drew Tolman, the former pro baseball player who's eager to convince her that she's the dessert he's been saving room for. Original.

If the author is going to write about baseball, she should do a little research. Little League ends at age 12. A big part of the story has 17 year olds playing Little League. I won't read her again.
This is the first I have read by this author and I loved it; I will definitely read more of Stef Ann Holm. I could relate to the single mom with troubled boys story line, and found satisfaction in the "happily ever after" ending.

a single mom moves to red duck to start a new life.funny read.
A single mom, skilled cook with two teenage sons relocates to Red Duck, Idaho. She meets sexy ex-pro baseball player Drew Talman, who has enough issues to sink a battleship. However, Drew appears to be the man for her but the secrets he's harboring could do real injury to their relationship on a personal and professional level. This was a very enjoyable story,
Lucy and her 2 sons move to Red Duck, ID to start over. There she meets bad boy Drew Tolman.
Too racy for me. I didn't finish it. I just didn't like the language in it. I won't read another one of hers probably...just not my style. I like cleaner books.
Author unknowledgeable of Little League age limits. Good story line, with side stories. Divorce' with 2 boys moves to small town to start over. Meets town hero, ex-baseball player who has a 16 year old daughter who he denied paternity of most of his life.
Very good read. This is the first of Stef Ann Holms books I've read. Can't wait to read more of her books.
good book
cute romance, featuring the new town caterer and former pro baseball player.
Newly divorced with two teenage sons can Lucy Carpenter really make it in a new town with only her wits and a handful of recipes?
Good read.
Another great read!!!
A cute little love story.
