A so-so look into the extraordinary life and times of Lucrezia Borgia, illegitimate daughter of a pope and woman of the Renaissance. Basically her life had everything... rumors of incest, political assinations, sexual abuse, poison, murder, etc. I didn't enjoy this book as others on the subject, but it was still very interesting and informative, just a slower read.

This book about Lucrezia Borgia's life wasn't what I originally expected. I generally read historical fiction but this book was amazing because the author bases everything completely off of actual documents. It starts off a little slow but I couldn't put it down after the beginning chapters! Great read!

This book is a historical account of the life of Lucrezia Borgia. Very different viewpoint from what is generally known and believed about her. Interesting if you are looking for a historians book of hr life and that of her family and marriages.

Very good historically accurate portrayal of a misunderstood woman. She wasn't an evil person. She didn't poison her enemies. She was an intelligent person, loved by her people. I highly recommend this book!
