Good story but the cover REALLY is awful! Lucky O'Donlen is saddled with an investigative reporter who wants an exclusive on a serial rapist. As they get to know each other by working closely, they become good friends, then lovers.

I have read the entire TD&D series and I have to say that this is the weakest book in the entire series. The characters are not engaging or convincing, with the exception of Lucy McCoy and she is just a secondary character in this book. There were too many secondary characters - the book did not isolate the hero and heroine the way that all of the other books in the series did, and its a definite mistake. Its hard to root for Lucky and Sydney when they are among the least interesting parts of the story.
