I was really looking forward to this book. What a disapointment. It was very boring, to me anyway.

I actually liked this book. True, there were parts of the book that seemed to drag out but I really enjoyed the storyline and I will read the next two books.

I thought this had potential but unfortunately, it didn't live up to it. I didn't hate it but found myself skimming in parts to get through it.

This book didn't work for me. I kept wondering why the main characters were so stupid and, although the way they talked didn't bother me, the run-on dialogue did. It took me 4 days to finish it (the only reason I didn't give up is because a friend of mine really liked the series....I'm skipping the rest in the series).
I was so disappointed in this book. I felt like I needed a translator in "redneck" to get through the dialog. Couldn't even finish it. Who in the world gave this author a book deal? SKIP IT!
Too clean for my personal tastes but a good story nonetheless. Parts did seem to drag on, but for the most part, an enjoyable read.
Anthony "Beau" Luckyadeau has been having dreams of the same woman for over two years. Back then he had a one night stand and fell head over heels in love. He searched for his dark haired beauty but could never find her. He's never been lucky with women, so he's hoping his upcoming marriage to socialite Amanda will turn his luck around.
Milli Torres is visiting her grandparent's cattle ranch to help out for the summer while her Poppy recuperates from a busted knee. So when she lays eyes on Beau near a cut fence, she is shocked. He doesn't recognize her, but she sure recognizes him and wants to take her baby girl and run back home.
But once her grandparents lay eyes on baby Katy next to Beau, they know something is fishy and want Milli to tell him before he finds out himself. But Milli is scared that Beau will only want Katy and not her, so she stays quiet. But when Beau's engagement is called off, all bets are off.
Lucky in Love is a wonderful western romance. I just love a man in cowboy boots and Beau is one heck of a good ole boy. Milli and Beau have real problems that we see in everyday living, so it's not a fairy tale. Carolyn Brown spins a charming tale of love, loss, and joy with an expert hand. I'm looking forward to the next in this trilogy, One Lucky Cowboy, coming in November.
