I had a hard time putting this book down. Great story along with super characters. Easy to get involved in the heated romance and the thriller that started on page one until the very end. Loved it.....
This was on OK book. A mystery murder of main character Bellamy's sister. A cast of suspects including her sister's ex, Dent. Of course the sparks fly between Dent & Bellamy (ewww, who would want their sister's sloppy seconds?) The mystery was good with a lot of characters to keep you guessing who did it. Not one of Sandra Brown's better books.
I enjoyed this story for the most part -- it moved easily from chapter to chapter, surprising twists, likeable main characters. But I do have a problem with mystery-thrillers that try to double as romance novels, as this one does. IMHO, raw sex-scenes don't belong in suspense novels, as they distract from the main story and just seem gratuitous when planted inside such a book. I think the author could have covered any romance with a bit more discretion and nuance.
This book is written so well it should be made into a movie.
An interesting tale about murder and family secrets, police cover-ups, convicting innocent men. Not Sandra Brown's best, but it was still good.
This is another Sandra Brown that you can't put down!
I loved this book. Couldn't put it down.
All of Sandra Brown's book are good and this is no exception.
Excellent book!
