Loving Liza Jane is the first in the Little Hickman Creek series by Sharlene Maclaren and it is excellent! Liza Jane is the new school teacher in the town of Hickman Creek. The children and the town grow to love her and she soon loves the widowed father of one of her students! Of course, many obstacles stand in their way. This is a good series that I highly recommend!

this is a really good book
First book in a very good series.When Lisa Jane first came to Little Hickman Creek she wondered 'what have I done'? She knew God had sent her here for a reason. Soon the young school teacher becomes loved by all including a man struggling to raise 2 young children. Will he overlook the perfect wife that God has dropped in his lap for a mail order wife?
