WOW!! This author has done it again on leading you into the story at steady pace though then you are turning pages trying to figure out who the mysterious person is and then when you least expect it you feel as if you are in the room with him. Whew, I had to catch my breath on this one excellent book.

Three woman have been given organs after a woman dies. One receives eyes, one gets lungs, and one gets a heart. A man from her past is on a mission to hunt down the three ladies with the organs. When he finds the woman who received the dead woman's heart, unbelievable events unravel. This is a fast paced, good mystery!
Had me guessing up to the end.
Suspenseful thriller.
Keeps the reader in the dark until the final pages...offers a challenging puzzle and some eerie chills.
Love this book. But then again I love all her books
I thought this book was really good (as are all of Staub's books). The main character is sympathetic as a young widow and the other characters are all very mysterious. Any one of them could be the killer! I was left guessing the killer's identity until almost the very end.
The only gripe I have about the book are Rose's children. They are written as irritating, whiny little monsters with absolutely no discipline. Staub even writes the dialogue of the little boy as whiny "baby talk" that is hard to read and very irritating after two words.

Good thriller in the style of Mary Higgins Clark
SHE LOVES ME...SHE LOVES ME NOT
Life goes on. That's what young widow Rose Larrabee tells herself each day as she has to be both mother and father to her two young children, a task that leaves little time for new romance. That's why she's surprised to find the simple, homemade valentine in her mailbox, a paper heart with no signature. It could be a sweet reminder, but for Rose, the red heart has special significance...a link to a secret she shares with two other women...a secret that has just gotten one of them brutally murdered.
I WANT HER...I WANT HER DEAD
Now, as the phone rings in the night, playing a song that sends chills down Rose's spine, and more heart-shaped gifts arrive mysteriously, the young mother is determined to protect her family from a threat she cannot see but knows is there...watching. And as another woman is killed, it becomes clear that each valentine is not the gift of a secret admirer but a warning from a twisted madman who's getting closer to the very heart of her deepest fears...

She Loves Me Not was a good read with some surprising twists. The story is about a young widow who has lost her beloved husband in a freak accident with electricity. Not only has her husband died but she is struggling financially to support herself and her two young children. She has had some recent serious health issues (but you have to read the book because that is part of the twists) that make things even more complicated. Suddenly she is getting unsigned cards and gifts (admirer or ?)Read this one with all the lights on (scary).

In the line of Mary Higgins Clark but I like this author better.
Good book.
