If you love chocolate ~ real chocolate, not mass-produced junk sold in drugstores ~ this book will delight you. And if you love Paris, or want to visit this fantastic city, this book might delight you!
Storyline is interesting, characters are somewhat flat initially but develop in time. Anna lives in UK, working in a chocolate factory where she has a freak accident. While recovering in hospital, she reconnects with her French teacher, Claire. Book becomes a dual story, with Anna's being predominant but Claire's is very much the guiding light.
Story was told flipping back and forth and this was sometimes difficult to follow, altho that may be because I'm having trouble focusing on complex stories during isolation.
Overall, enjoyable book. And I learned a lot about making luxury chocolate!
