I liked Love Story. A story of two people, Abby and Hunter, who could have been good friends growing up and maybe even something more, but never got the chance because of life's circumstances. Now they are not only at the same college but in the same dorm and share classes. They have to get over their past to see if there is any hope for a future.
Sounds good, went well, but in the end I was left with too many questions.
I knew as the end approached and the drama was just being played out, that there was no way Echols was going to bring this story to a wrapped-up-nice-with-a-bow conclusion. There was a climax but the falling action didn't slid into a conclusion, it just jumped off a clift and left you having to imagine it had a parachute and landed somewhere safely. For some people, they are fine with this kind of ending and like to imagine how everything is going to continue on and work out. Me? I like the author, who does know the ending in her mind, to tell me how it all works (or doesn't work) out. I was a connections at least and love an epilogue.
Love Story was good but It needed two more chapters.
