This is the first in a series about the LeDeux brothers, from Lousiana. All of the books are well written, researched, and have very sexy scenes. They have a wild and crazy Aunt Tante Lulu, who uses St Jude to fix the boys up with their true loves. This book has lots of funny side splitting scenes. I've read all of her books about these brothers, and have not been disappointed yet.

A Love Potion in a Jelly Bean?
Yep! Fame and fortune are surely only a swallow away when Dr Sylvie Fontaine discovers a chemical formula guaranteed to attract the opposite sex. Though her own love life is purely hypothetical, the shy chemist's professional future is assured...as soon as she can find a human guinea pig.
The only problem is the wrong man has swallowed Sylvie's love potion. Bad boy Lucien LeDeux is more than she can handle even before he's dosed with the Jelly Bean Fix. The wildly virile lawyer is the last person she'd choose to subject to the scientific method.
When the dust settles, Sylvie and Luc have the answers to some burning questions--Can a man die of testosterone overload? Can a straight-laced female lose every single one of her inhibitions?--and they learn that old-fashioned romance is still the best catalyst for love.

I read this book many times, and continue to enjoy the "cajun flavor" (although I do not know how realistic it is being a "northerner"). I really connected with the characters, the matchmaking Aunt continues to make me giggle. The romance is hysterical and amusing, and the intimate scenes are good. I loved this book, and just recently got others in the series to check out. Sandra Hill's The Love Potion in my mind is six stars out of five. My copy is slowly getting very very worn, hopefully you will get the chance to find one and do the same.
Side note: the whole love potion element may sound ridiculous, but it really provides an entertaining situation - and not to worry isn't what makes the book good or bad, it truly has more to it than that - like a past for the two main characters.

This is the first installment in Sandra Hill's Cajun series and it's a wonderfully funny and clever story. The characters burst off the pages and there's always a laugh around the corner. You'll fall in love with Luc and Sylvie.

The first in Hill's "Cajun Men" series (followed by Tall Dark & Cajun, Cajun Cowboy and Red Hot Cajun). Also good if you like her "Jinx" series - these are the prequels.
Didnt really get into this story. I tried several times but gave up. I had the next of the series waiting so I read Tall Dark and Cajun. Once I got into this one I enjoyed it!
It was good, I read it in 1 night.
Sylvie Fontaine and Lucien LeDeux...two unexpected characters that find each other so strongly attracted...LOVE POTION or REAL LOVE?
I absolutely love this writer. She brought so much humor to this story that I was laughing continuously and still enjoying very steamy love scenes...AMAZING! I can't wait to read the rest of this series.

I loved the Cajun Series. Its funny, sexy and fastpaced. I would love to read more of this author. 5 stars!
First in the Cajun Series featuring the LaDeux brothers. I read this out of sequence and it didn't really matter that much. The story was a little unbelieveable at first...I mean a love potion in a jelly bean.....but that's why it is called fiction, right? But romance....Lordy, Lordy as they say in Louisiana...I can gua-ran-tee there was plenty of romance between Luc and Sylvie. So romance readers sit up and take note, you will like this book and all the others in the Cajun series by Sandra Hill....They are smokin!!! The Jinx series is also a carry over with some of the characters and they are excellent as well if you like this genre.
