Isabelle has always been good at running away from her problems. This time she's run "home" to Callister, Idaho and is determined to start over with her daughter and make a life for herself as a horse trainer. And no more men! Especially cowboys. That is until the local sheriff, a man she hasn't seen in 18 years, appears.
John Bradshaw is a rodeo star turned small town sheriff with his own troubles. His wife left him and took their two boys. But when his high school crush (Isabelle) returns to town he jumps at the chance to get to know her all over again. Can two wounded hearts learn to love again?
I really enjoyed this book! The author makes the story come alive and you really feel like you are witnessing it yourself as opposed to just reading another love story. The writing is excellent, the love story is both erotic and tender and the ending will surely make you cry!

I really enjoyed this book, in some ways it reminded me of the movie "Hope Floats" where the herione's been dumped by her spouse for another woman and the man that has always loved her from afar tries to win her love and that of her daughter after she returns home to the family ranch she so desperately wanted to escape all those years ago.
