This book surprised me so much! I loved it. It was the first book I've read by Kate Morgenroth and I was duly impressed. It kept you guessing the entire book as to who did it and not until the very end did she disclose who the real killer was. I'm looking to read more by this author. And I love the 'book club' relationships in this, if you've ever been in a book club you'll probably be able to relate!
Helpful Score: 1
A fun easy read! Morgenroth's plot twists keep you guessing and she has captured the petty jealousies of the book club members well.

This is the first book that I have read by this author....I thought it was a great read that grabbed me right from the beginning and kept me guessing right until the end. Good mystery and good characters and their relationships.

An easy read. Knowing it is a mystery you try to watch out for clues that are presented as you read. Had it all figured out but maybe not.

I wasn't sure at first if I wanted to read this book. It was part of my book club so I did. LOVED IT! Kept me entertained. Chick lit with a mystery in a way! Worth the short read!!!

Very, very enjoyable! Especially if you grew up anywhere near Greenwich, CT.
This is an excellent book with thrills and suspense plus characters that you certainly won't love but ones that you will enjoy getting into their heads, a great twist at the end too.
Fewer and fewer mysteries capture my imagination as I get older and more experienced as a reader.
Not all authors show sharp intelligence and keen wit.
This one does.
There's not a series by her and some of her books sound too full of horror for me to spend time with. But, this is just excellent.

This was a good, fast read...a mystery with good characters and story....
Very fast read. A little predictable, but sufficient twists and turns - worth reading.
The book started out slow, but once it got rolling I couldn't put it down. I would recommend this book definitely.
Well, the reviews were hyped up for this author so I was looking forward to reading it. For the first half of the book I wondered why as it seemed to go so slow, but in the last half of the book you could see that she was just laying the ground work for what was coming in the last half of the book. So I really enjoyed it the more I read it and the ending was definitely not what I expected. If you like mysteries, you'll enjoy this book!
