The "inside" of With Love From the Inside by Angela Pisel is death row where Grace Bradshaw awaits execution. It is not the plot but the emotion of this debut novel that has me reading it straight through in one sitting. Mind you, this book is not an easy read. It deals with death, betrayal, and about finding the strength to go on. The emotions grab hold and don't let go until the last page.

This book grabbed me and I didn't want to put it down. Grace's side of the story is told from jail. Her daughter, Sophie, has abandoned her connection to Grace and formed a life on her own. However, events cause to rethink her situation with her mother. This story was emotional and brought me to tears more than once. It's a real mother/daughter tale.
