I did not read this book. I am very prudish in my reading and read 3 pages before deciding the book was not for me.
Not his best book by far, and some more sensitive readers may be upset by the protagonist's morals. Overall a good yarn with some very funny bits.
Written like only Garrison Keillor can write.
Kind of a wierd read if you like Garrison Keillor. Sad story and somewhat graphic (sexually) -- surprised me. Certainly not a Lake Wobegon -- but interesting observations on the life of a "writer."
Interesting story, good love story.
