I loved this book! Christy is a spunky little miss....from the beginning of the book when she was shot and demanded that one of the bandits bandage her arm to standing in the street during a gunfight to support the man she loves!! She also has a heart of gold to go with all that spunk! I also loved that Ms. Ferrell included Doc Holiday and the Earp brothers in the story! What a wonderful bit of history!

Another wonderful historical by Miralee Ferrell. I did read "Love Finds You in Last Chance, California" first since I already had it so I'd know Christy's story before this book. Both books can be read as stand-alones though. I love how the author uses the history of Tombstone and included some of the famous westerners we've come to associate with Tombstone--Doc Holliday and Wyatt Earp. I could easily picture everything just like I was watching a movie. If you enjoy western historicals, then you won't want to miss this one.

I really liked Love Finds You In Tombstone Arizona by Miralee Ferrell. It is a good, well written and researched story of that infamous old west town. I liked the heroine, Christy Grey. She was strong and capable. She did what she had to do to take care of her ailing mother and younger brother. Her love interest, Nevada King, was a reformed gunslinger with a heart to help others in need. I would highly recommend this novel!

Unfortunately, this book wasn't that great until the last 75 pages or so. It was not well planned out and was a finicky story.

Christy is leaving Last Chance (which I read the book for that one and liked). Her brother informed her that her mama was sick and he couldn't take care of her that well. On her way out there is a hold up and she is shot. She meets a man in Tombstone named Nevada who has some history of being on the run and Christy also has some history she hopes never comes up. The two of them feel for a young teen girl who is trapped in prostitution and see some problems coming up all around them.

I understand that a lot of what was written in this book come from actual historical events in Tombstone, but it was jumpy and not too well written. I didn't even have an attachment or care for the characters until later on. I almost stopped reading the book after the first 100 pages being a let down. The last bit of the book was really wonderful and filled with lessons on forgiveness.

If you enjoy the Love Finds You In series of books (as I do), then yes, read it. Otherwise, it wasn't that worth it.
