Couldn't stand this book because of the heroine. She's one of those too stupid to live heroines. She's so emotionally needy. She is supposedly an experienced woman, but she blurts out her feelings over and over without any reciprocation from the hero. She gave and gave and got nothing in return except some really hot sex.

I get totally annoyed with heroines who repeatedly make themselves so vulnerable and open without any appreciation from the hero. A good love story will have an interchange of emotions from both, but when things are pretty much one-way, it's not enjoyable for the reader.

If you enjoy reading stories where the heroine has unrequited love and constantly makes a fool out of herself then by all means read this book. If that was the author's intent, she did a great job. However, if you're like me, if prefer your heroines who aren't so heartbreakingly open with their feelings, pass on this book.

I really enjoyed this book. I felt their connection as I am sure Janica did even though Luke had trouble acknowledging his feelings in words. I actually liked this book more than Take Me.

This is a sequel to Take Me. I did not read Take Me and since I did not finish this book, I am not sure if you have to read them in order.

I cannot even tell you what this book is about. I read about 20 pages and skimmed the rest. The writing is dry. Looking at the cover you know there should be some juicy scenes inside. The first one you come to is at page 20 and it is so boring and drawn out. I skimmed and shut the book and said Forget it.

1. Take Me (Lily Ellis and Travis Carson)
2. Love Me (Janica Ellis and Luke Carson)
