When FBI Agent Nick McCall is given his next undercover assignment, he is assured by his boss that it will be over by the weekend. Nick must pose as the date of Heiress Jordan Rhodes. Jordan is invited to an exclusive wine tasting that is being given by famous Restauranteur Xander Eckhart. The FBI believes that Eckhart is laundering money for the mob and wants to plant a bug in his office. Jordan really doesn't want to get involved, but the FBI has promised to release her brother from prison if she cooperates. As the night goes on, Nick finds out that Eckhart is jealous and is having him investigated, so he must continue to pose as Jordan's boyfriend.

This is another winner from Julie James. The story is fun, the characters are great, the dialogue is witty. Jordan and Nick's conversations are sarcastic and sometimes hilarious. The sexual tension is tangible. The secondary characters are fun too. I really liked Jordan's brother, Kyle, and can't wait to read his book. My rating: 5 Stars.

I just love Julie James! She has such witty dialogue and likable characters, I have a hard time putting her books down. This was a 5 star book for me! As an added bonus, we get to catch up a bit with Jack Pallas & Cameron Lynde from her previous book "Something About You."

What a delightful story. Romance stories can get old real fast but this was a page turner with fun and witty banter. I really enjoyed the pace of this....some suspense but nothing too traumatizing. Will definitely read more by this author!

Jordan happens to be the daughter of a rich man and the sister of someone who did something stupid and is paying for it. Jordan also happens to be f*cking awesome all by herself. She's a successful business woman, owning her business, a popular wine store. She knows knows everything about wine.
Nick, is an undercover FBI agent who has worked one undercover job after another. He doesn't "do" relationships. He lives her the job.
You know where this is going! See, the FBI needs her for her connection to someone. She can get the FBI in, so they can get the evidence they need to take this person down. Nick becomes Jordan's fake BF. Things happen and their fake "date" has to become more.
I enjoyed this one so much. I loved the banter between Nick and Jordan, Nick and his family, Jordan and her family. In fact, I enjoyed this so much, I wasn't ready to say goodbye at the end of the book. An epilogue would have been nice:-) Nick has his preconceived notions of who Jordan is based strictly on the fact she has money (or in this case stands to inherit $$). Jordan quickly proves him wrong. I liked how this progressed from not-quite enemies to an admiration to lovers.
One of the only things I didn't like about this book was how most women were struck dumb by Kyle's attractiveness. Really?! It's also a little dated with the "Lost" references (Kyle looks like Sawyer).
