Interesting biography of Bernard Kerik, who was NYC's 40th Police Commissioner. He also was chosen to be head of Homeland Security but had a personal scandal and lost the job (not covered in this book).
Very interesting story of a policemans life and his persuit for his childhood.

Awesome read! This book really puts Bernard in a "Superman" kind of heroic light. Though he perfectly discusses his imperfections he proves that he is just as human as any of us. It kind of gave me a great motivation to do some small work in my community to help the world become a better place as well. He has led an amazing life. After reading this, I had wished he would be hired into the administration within the Federal prison system, boy that place is a mess! What a great guy! This book was great, you really get a feel that he is an "average joe" that one could easily befriend.
very good
