Charlie and Amy have been kidnapped. The kidnappers' game is an auction. Whoever offers the most money, their daughter will live, the other will die. Kim Stone is tough on her team. She needs an attitude adjustment at times but she is good at her job. She is determined to bring these children back unharmed.
The story builds and builds and the plot twists and turns until the very surprise ending. Some of the characters are unique but the nasty ones are real nasty. I'm definitely looking forward to the next in the series and I highly recommend this book to those who love mystery thrillers.
