Ian Phillips (the author) collects Lost pet posters from around the world. He definitely has collected an eclectic mix, from very well done & thought out posters to simple drawings of the person's pet. A quick read. :-)

Neat little book. Quick read. It even has a flip book feature so you can watch a dog, cat, & bird run through the pages.

This book is really interesting with some amazing signs of lost animals from all over the world. Some of them are really entertaining, but its sad to know there was a missing animal attached to each of them.

This book shows lost and found (though mostly lost) posters from around the world. Most are from the US, but included are a few from Italy, Japan, Australia, and other distant places. Some are sweet, some are funny, and some are very sad. It's kind of depressing to look through pages of phrases like "he is loved and missed." It doesn't take long to look through the pages of this book, and after doing so you'll want to go hug your pet.

This is pretty cute- I think the "author" had a great idea here. The few included from kids are the most heartbreaking. There are some great little drawing, some of which I'm sure are from adults. :)
It is sad, knowing that most of these guys probably didn't make it home. Phillips includes some statistics in the back, he doesn't say where he got them at, but, if they are correct, they're very interesting.
He also included some tips for making lost pet posters which have probably already helped someone out there. All of the tips are common sense things but things you may not think about, especially at a time like that.
It's definitely worth a look- I got through it in about a half hour and I put it down twice.
