Ultimately just anti-climactic. It never really went anywhere or seemed to have any point. There are many, much better books set in similar circumstances in Latin America.
So disappointed as it was so highly touted. Somewhat Orwellian story of all the disappearing people in a fictional South American country. Tho it tells of the horrible consequences from violence and war .
