Powerful story of a broken child made whole as he came to know Jesus. Proof that no matter how difficult a childhood can be, one CAN change their course of life with the help of God.

This story is well written .... with deep felt emotion and gut honesty. One cannot help but be moved by Pastor Greg Laurie's story of his truly "dysfunctional" childhood and how he learned to love and forgive his mother AND all the men she brought into his life.

Easy reading ... a hard-to-put-down book. My husband loved it as well, and he is not an avid reader. I am now purchasing copies to share with other family members. I won't give my copy up. :-)

Autobiography of Gregg Laurie, pastor of one of the first mega churches in the United States and started holding the evangelistic events called the Harvest Crusade. It's a fascinating read about his colorful and sometimes difficult life.
