I've now read all 3 books in this trilogy and have found it to be one of the best I've read. Great plot, lots of action, and the characters were very well-written. Some of the good guys had not-so-good qualities and some of the bad guys had some good qualities, however, I did find one of the female characters, Tia, to be just downright unlikeable. No problem - it's what makes this such an interesting series. Not everything is just black and white - there are some shades of grey. There's no magic in these books either, although that's not a deal-breaker. It's a nice change.

By far the best out of the whole series. I really enjoyed this book although I think I knew what would happen to each character about 3 steps before it actually happened. Good read.
