For the first time in a very long time, I did not even finish a book. I just did not find these characters or this storyline engaging. Perhaps the book got better in its second half, but I will never know. The idea of a female heiress to a dukedom was intriguing but there was not way that she would have been so spurned by society. And Lord Will was not an enjoyable character. I couldn't finish it and I am sorry about that because normally I love this author.

I thought this one was very enjoyable, with a fully realized hero for a change.
