I tried to read this and just couldn't get into it. The author has a tendency to ramble and I can't enjoy a book when they do.

ChickLit. Ginger has been jilted at the altar, as she consoles herself with her wedding night champagne her first love, former bad boy, now police officer shows up to tell her that her intended is missing and she is suspected of having something to do with it. Rather than the bad luck holding there, it heaps on with job and apartment loss and now Ginger has to do what she swore would never happen: moving back in with her mom and grandmother.

Very funny and good resolve that doesn't depend on the hero saving the day - as I recall ( I haven't read this in a while).
