I've always been fascinated with weaving, and this book has just enough information to fan its flames. The small town setting in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina is very well done, and Martin has assembled an interesting and eclectic cast of characters that sets the series off to a good start. As I turned the last page, I found myself looking forward to meeting these characters again in another adventure. Martin's series is definitely one to watch.

Very good first novel. Mystery was not easy to solve but clues were there. The characters are likeable and interesting. I don't know anything about weaving but I did want to learn more by the end of the book. I will read the next book when it comes out.
This was a fantastic beginning to the Weaving series. It was so good it could have been a stand alone crime novel. I loved it! I loved all of the characters and thought it had perfect character development. The setting was nice. A place Id like to visit.
