Great Read!!!
Middle River looks quaint and wholesome, but people have secrets would ruin them if they get out. Northwood Paper Mill employs most of the townsfolk so people are very reluctant to talk about the wrongdoing of the family who runs the mill. Those who run the mill run the town.
Annie Barnes, a famous writer, returns to Middle River to find her sister displaying the same symptoms that her mother had before her death. Come to think of it, for such a small town, an awful lot of families have seen similar tragedies...
The odds are stacked against her, but Annie is determined to find out what is wrong in her town because she doesn't want to lose her sister or have other innocent people fall ill or die.
She gets more than she bargains for as the story unfolds, but the hardship brings hope and unexpected romance to her life too.

Despite the cheesy title, this is a great story with Barbara's typical terrific characters and intense story line. If you're a die-hard Delinsky fan like I am, you'll love it!

Don't be put off by the title...This audio book is one of Delinsky's best! Great plot, great narrator, likeable characters and good research behind the story. You have to hear it!!!
