I absolutely LOVED this book when I was younger! And when i worked at Borders I reccomended it frequently. Of course, you can't go wrong with Judy Blume!

I'm surprised this book hasn't fallen apart on me yet. I could recite the entire thing from front to back I read it so much! I loved all of Judy Blumes' books, and this is a great book to introduce girls into development and maturity as they advance into High School.
Ideal for tweens
Rachel and Stephanie are best friends. A new girl named Allison moves into their neighborhood and Stephanie wants them all to be friends. This book tells about how Stephanie tries to make her relationship with Rachel work while she also wants to be friends with Allison.
Great book about that crazy middle school age!
Rachel is Stephanie's best friend. Since second grade, they've shared secrets, good and bad. Now in seventh grade, Alison moves into the neighborhood. Stephanie hopes all three of them can be best friends, because Stephanie really likes Alison. But it looks as if it's going to be a case of two's company and three's a crowd. Can the girls' friendship be saved?

My 12 year old enjoyed this book
This was one of my absolute favorites when I was young. Such a great book, I recommend it for all young adults.
This book is about three girls who are struggling to stay friends. I reccomend this book for ges 7-10.
