This is a well written book. I am not a fan of Manson's music, but he is a very interesting, if not misunderstood person. I don't know if this book is a true autobiography for the simple fact that Manson lives to shock and there are some stories in this book that are beyond shocking. He had a history in journalism and is very creative, so I imagine that some of these stories are a bit fictionalized. That being said, it is a real page turner and I ran through it in a few days. Not for the squeamish.

Brian Warner's a performance artist, so you have to take everything he says and does with a grain of salt. I've always found him very intelligent and was hoping for a look behind the character. Got a glimpse -- maybe.
This book'd make a good cable TV biopic a la Howard Stern's Private Parts. Marilyn Manson could play the young Brian Warner with prosthetic earlobes.
Includes black & white and color photos.

This book is a pretty good read. I have been a Marilyn Manson fan for a long time and just now got around to reading his book. I do not think you should bother if you are not a fan. The book pretty much describes the road from obscurity to rock star fame. I think some of the incidents may be a little exaggerated and biased, but overall the story had a sound of truth to it. The hard cover edition is very nicely bound with engraving on the cover under the dust jacket and some great color and black and white pictures.

Over all very enjoyable and I was able to read it in two days which is great because my To Be Read pile is quite long.

This was a very interesting read about an incredibly intelligent man. He is so mysterious and misunderstood, that it's amazing to me just how "normal" he is.
