Another fantastic read from Tim Farrington. His books are so REAL LIFE, I get very engrossed in them. This one is no exception. This book is about a family, a war and everything that happens in the meantime. A SUPER good novel that almost reads like a memoir.
A good read about a family and how the Vietnam war affected not only the husband, who was in Vietnam, but his wife and children back home living without him and their experiences and feelings.
This is my favorite Vietnam war book. It is a beautiful description of the 'other' side of war- that is, the perspective of the women and children the men leave behind. Great author, great novel.
