This bio explains Little Richard's emotional difficulties between his immense popularity vs. his religious feelings. It does not touch on his homosexuality, except in a chapter-opening quote. Little Richard handled these aspects of himself like the original he was. He changed 180 degrees and realized that was too far. This book shows just how human Little Richard was. I was surprised that the author didn't mention that Little Richard died of bone cancer.
