Really interesting, tight plot. Those neighbors next door that you don't really warm to - are they what they seem to be? Jason Lynx is at first disinterested, but when the couple is murdered and he is the chief suspect, he has to take action.

Mystery featuring Colorado antiques dealer Jason Lynx. Author is a pseudonym for the sci fi/fantasy writer Sheri Tepper.

This is the first of six mysteries featuring Jason Lynx, an antiques dealer and interior designer in Denver CO. I like Jason and Grace, and of course Bella the dog. Interesting twist about halfway through the book.
Jason is not as preachy as Shirley McClintock, the protagonist of Tepper's series written under B.J. Oliphant.
