Golden MacDonald is a pseudonym for Margaret Wise Brown. Very typical of her work, strange in a comforting, memorable way. A kitten learns about nature and her place in it.

The illustrations in this book are charming. Little island shares with a curious kitten what purpose it serves.
Beautifully done book.
This is a lovely book. The drawings are beautiful and interesting and it has many different elements such as seasons, faith in something you cannot see, and the story is delightfully written- one of our favorites.
