This book was nothing short of bizarre. I read it for the first time when I was about 16, I didn't get it but something about it clung to me. So I kept it on my shelf and read it again about 6 months ago (I'm now 23) and I'm so glad I kept it. It's a book with its own beat and you have to get into that groove to really appreciate the story. It's strange, fanciful and disturbing and I reccomend it to anyone who likes odd little books that leave you feeling as though you just fell from a great height.
