i first got this book from a booksale when i was in college and i finished reading it in just one seating. i got so absorbed into reading that it seemed like i muted everything going around me. in my mind i was there.
the story was about two teen friends, killers who murdered people for kicks. they were ruthless, evil spawns from hell. their story stuck with me and still haunts me to this day. but when you read their story (of abuse, bad home, neglect etc), you would feel sad and horrified at the same time of how things and their lives had began and gotten to that point. very good research by the author and also detailed. pictures in the middle part of the book.

Little Lost Girl is much more than the compelling true crime account of a bizarre but brutal murder. It is a moving, insighful portrayal of the terrible forces of family neglect and hideous sexual abuse that robbed Shirley Wolf and Cindy Collier of their childhoods and drove them to kill.

It is truly chilling what children can do.
Disturbing for sure. Two young girls who commit a very adult crime.
