Classic book with vintage illustrations!
At the edge of the forest, the little lame boy's father finds the perfect tree for his son to grow strong with. Each winter, he carries the little fir tree inside to celebrate Christmas with his son; each spring, he returns it to the forest again. Together, the boy and the tree grow bigger year after year. Until one Christmas no one comes to the forest, and the little fir tree worries he's been forgotten for good.
