This twisty turny novel was a pleasant surprise. It's the story of three long-term friends, their families, and the misdeeds they've committed.

Lily, Mackenzie, and Robin have been friends for years, but their relationships are far from perfect... more like the Real Housewives of Pittsburgh! It's all here - murder, abuse, addiction, infidelity, rape, lies and more. As the novel unfolds, we learn more and more secrets about the past and their impact on the present and future.

I enjoyed this âslow burn' plot because it could happen in my suburban neighborhood (but I hope not!) since the twists were interesting but not totally outrageous.
