A fine book. It is about a early Humanoid found Messel Germany . Seems 47 Mil years. But the book also covers possible early ancestors of humans all done in great detail.

Excellent study of the early hominids. Goes all the way through the earliest until the Australopithecus types. and does so in detail along with the flaura and fauna of the periods. I highly recommend it.
