I was disappointed by this book. I have read others by Carolly Erickson that I absolutely loved, but this one was pretty boring. I did not even finish it.

I am a real royalty freak and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. A real insight into Elizabeth's inflexibility and her ability to absorb the shocks that orginate in her own family. Philip comes off as a real prick, and she comes off as the ever suffering wife who takes her job very seriously. When she took him for "better or for worse", "worse" was mostly what she got. Genny
