This is a beautiful Christian Love story. Cat Barker an orphan and Jake Stone his father dead, his mother in prison meet in a juvenile home.They make love at 17 years old and Cat gets pregnant with their daughter Lara. She leaves, but does not tell Jake that she is expecting his child. Because of the upheaval in their lives they have not learned to trust. They continue to be in love with each other for 5 years until Cat finds she has a serious medical problem and may die.She takes Lara to Jake and tells him that he is her father. Jake's family recognizes right away that Lara looks just like Jake's dad. Lara and Cat are loved and accepted in Dry Creek.When Cat has a serious medical emergency Jake is with her constantly loving and supporting her.
