His first book on wilderness survival was sold nationally and served as a textbook by the National Camping Association and the Colorado Outward Bound School. AUTHORBIO: Margaret Hamper is the widow of Stan Hamper, whose works she published posthumously: Wilderness Survivor's Guide and Lighting Devices and Accessories of the 17th - 19th Centuries.
