First off, I didn't finish it. I really liked the premise of hair providing nutrition for people, and I really liked the way Roberts went with it - the poor are now poorer than ever etc - but oh lordy, the verbiage! After Leah comes home it's never-ending blather that doesn't seem to be going anywhere. I heard it changes in the last third, but I just couldn't get there. However YMMV.
