This was one of the best books I've ever read. It follows Tom Horn from about 16 years old up through his 50's and all the way along it moves quickly and is never dull. The movie with Tom Selleck only portrays a small part of Tom Horn's life and it really doesn't convey the emotions in the book. It could be just "another cowboy movie". If you enjoy westerns this book is a MUST READ!
